For the first time, the new Chinese FAW D60 SUV was presented at an auto show in Russia back in 2016, but for economic reasons it never appeared in dealerships. Almost a year later, the Chinese manufacturer officially announced the arrival of the new FAW D60 2018 on the Russian market. The estimated start of sales of the crossover is the beginning of 2018. Today the car has already been delivered to dealerships and you can pre-order it.
On the official website, there is still a limited amount of information on the FAW D60 2018 crossover, with a note that sales will start in the near future. In the Chinese market, the new FAW D60 2018 crossover has been produced and sold since 2015-2016, under the name Junpai. At the same time, the model can be bought both in the old, before the restyled version, and in the updated body. Considering that the new FAW D60 2018 crossover is just entering the Russian market, then without a doubt it will be an updated version of the car.
Compared to the pre-styling model, the new FAW D60 2018 crossover received an updated radiator grille, modern optics and a new front and rear bumper. The interior of the new FAW D60 2018 got a new dashboard and a new multimedia system based on an 8 ″ touch screen, while a 7 ″ display was previously installed. The technical characteristics of the new FAW D60 2018 crossover will delight the buyer with two petrol engines, 1.5 liters and 1.8 liters. The power of the first unit is 113 horses, the second - 139 hp. A manual 5-speed gearbox is installed in a pair of a 1.5-liter engine, but in a pair of 1.8-liters, only an automatic 6-speed gearbox is available. The previous generation was equipped with the same engines, but the maximum power did not exceed 102 horses. As for the drive of the new FAW D60 2018, as before it is front-wheel drive, an all-wheel drive option is not provided.
The list of equipment for the new FAW D60 2018 crossover includes side and front airbags, air conditioning, a modern all-electric sunroof, a rear-view camera, heated and electrically controlled side mirrors and an ESC system.
As for the price of the crossover FAW D60 2018, it is not yet reliably known. Presumably, the price of a Chinese car will start at 800,000 rubles, in terms of the number of trim levels at least three: basic, maximum and sport options.
